Former BMX Pro & Action Sports Athlete Turned Ramp Designer & Fabricator.
For over 3 decades, John Bethers (Owner, Designer, Fabricator) has been designing, building & riding his creations.
In 1992, John built and opened The Lumberyard Skatepark. A public skatepark and personal training facility which also fostered his love of designing and building ramps. His riding quickly progressed and began touring with the Vans BMX Stunt Team in ’94. The owner of the teams commissioned John to build ramps for his entire company. A reputation for building the best touring ramps in the world quickly spread and he hasn’t stopped the passion for innovating and progressing the possibilities of ramp structures and design ever since. Officially founding SuperRamp Technologies in 2005.
SuperRamp Technologies currently has numerous ramp patents with dozens of unique protections and claims. You can see his touring ramps in action on The Monster Energy Stunt Team, Nitro Circus Live, Cirque du Soleil, and many more performances around the world.

Our Perspective Was Earned
Our perspective comes from every aspect of a ramp building process. As former professional action sports athletes, we know how a perfect ramp should feel. As the setup crew, we know how effortless a ramp should come together. As builders, we know what materials will last a lifetime. As designers, we know how all these pieces work together for the final product. Someone that hasn’t personally experienced every aspect of a build will be missing crucial details that will result in a massive difference for the finished product. Every reason, for every angle, every radius, every material, every layout… We know ramps, because we live them.
